Cartica Management, LLC is an independent, employee-owned investment boutique focused exclusively on emerging markets. We manage a concentrated portfolio of high-quality emerging market companies for several of the world’s largest institutional investors.

It’s our philosophy to actively engage with the management of all our portfolio companies to seek value-enhancing improvements in ESG and related factors.

Founded in 2009 by senior professionals from the World Bank’s International Finance Corporation, Cartica is a majority women-owned and women-led firm. Headquartered in Washington, D.C., the firm is a registered investment advisor with the United States Securities and Exchange Commission.
